Working Principle
The desiccant wheel continuously manages moisture through a synchronized drying and regeneration process.
- Drying Zone: Filtered process air passes through the wheel, where moisture is captured and dry air is supplied to the controlled area.
- Regeneration Zone: A separate air stream is heated and passed through the wheel to remove the absorbed moisture.
- Air Exhaust: The released moisture is carried away by the regeneration airflow and discharged outside.
- Continuous Rotation: The wheel keeps moving between both zones, allowing drying and regeneration to occur without interruption.
